Great area, great hotel, fantastic front desk, great room, great housekeeping, just great. Parking a little pricey, but overall a great place to stay. Pufferfish - the bar. If you are over 12 years old you should stay away from the pufferfish on the top of the hotel. It has a great concept with limited seating inside and out, but the bar is handled by 20 somethings that serve about 5 drinks an hour and focus more on trying to impress the underage girls with free drinks.

Cute hotel. Room was more about looks than comfort but we were only there for one night. Parking is next door and easy. Location is good to walk to restaurants.

Hotel Metro is absolutely phenomenal! While they don’t have their own parking, there’s a convenient garage located right across the street, which worked out just fine. From the outside, the building has a charming, historic look — but once you step inside, it’s modern, spacious, and stylish. The lobby is clean and welcoming, and the two front desk staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a small issue with my mobile key not opening the door, but they came up right away and resolved it quickly and professionally. My room was impressive — very spacious, super clean, and beautifully designed. It even had a huge sectional with a coffee table, which made it feel more like a suite than a typical hotel room. The bathroom was also a great size and well-appointed. The only downside was that the TV didn’t work properly with the remote, but honestly, that wasn’t a big deal for me. If you’re looking for a comfortable, modern, and well-located hotel in the Milwaukee area, I highly recommend Hotel Metro. I’d definitely stay here again!

Here's the thing. I gave this hotel 4 stars, but really it was a 3.5. Everything was good, from checking in, to the quality of the room, the cleanliness, the staff are polite. The big issue is the age of the AC. It was loud and didn't pump anything except warm air out, which made sleeping very difficult. Even when I turned it off completely and opened the limited motion windows, the room remained hot. If the AC was updated, I would very much recommend, unfortunately, I had a terrible sleep, and can't wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

This was a beautiful classic hotel. We were in town for a girls trip to watch the Dodgers and were greeted by the most amazing host Brendan! Service was exceptional he was extremely kind, stylish and welcoming. Definitely a must stay if visiting Milwaukee.

We had a great experience from beginning to end. We were able to pull up in front and leave the car for the very friendly valet. The check in was quick and easy and the desk agent was great and dressed very nicely too. Our room was beautiful and huge. It’s really a suite. The shower was large and very nice. We had a wonderful breakfast at Oggies and the server (Megan) was excellent.

This historic hotel is always lovely. Because of the age of the building, some of the rooms are smaller, cozy, and compact while others are much larger (the difference can be seen even in rooms of the same category). Either way, the rooms are always clean and a lovely design. The staff is always kind and very helpful. Stay in the Spa King if you can!

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Metro in Milwaukee. The hotel has a stylish, comfortable vibe, and the service was top-notch. Brendan, in particular, went out of his way to make me feel welcome and offered some excellent local recommendations that really enhanced my trip. Great location, spacious rooms, and a genuinely warm atmosphere—I’d absolutely stay here again.
